Elected November 2015 from Ward 3, Brad Pransky looks forward to developing, implementing and creatively promoting new solutions with the Board of Commissioners.
Mr. Pransky was raised in Cheltenham Township, graduated from Cheltenham High School and went on to graduate from Temple University. Since 1983, he has been co-founder and CEO of DBIS, Inc., and Interactive Intelligence, Inc., which focus on the computer and technology industries. He is also the Editor of Int2View.com an online webzine which provides product reviews, information and perspectives on the technology industry. Mr. Pransky is the Managing Partner supervising Real Estate Holdings for David L Pransky & Sons.
Mr. Pransky is deeply committed to Cheltenham Township and its ability to evolve and thrive, and feels a profound obligation to participate in the process. While serving as a member of the Township’s Economic Development Task Force for 15+ years, he formed the Cheltenham Township Community Development Corp., a 501(c)3 non-profit, and was chairman until his election to Commissioner. Mr. Pransky was also a past chair of the Economic Restructuring Committee; a member of the Cheltenham Township Environmental Advisory Council; sat on the Township’s ad-hoc Zoning Revision Committee and the Select Zoning Committee; served on the 2006 Act 1 School Tax Commission; and was a member of the 2005 Comprehensive Plan Committee and a founding lifetime member and past board member of CreekSide Co-op.
Mr. Pransky and his wife, Lee, relocated their home and business to Elkins Park in 1998.
